Jun Abe is chairman of the board at Hitachi Vantara. In this role, he focuses on accelerating digital value creation for customers and partners, unlocking new synergies across the greater Hitachi Group.

Abe-san joined Hitachi Vantara's board in early 2020. He has 37 years of experience at Hitachi companies and has held multiple key leadership positions. Throughout his tenure, he has helped Hitachi bring to market major innovations and address business challenges. He remains committed to Hitachi's bottom line, leveraging technology to solve the world's most pressing societal issues while helping customers derive value from their data to make impactful contributions in their industries.

Abe-san most recently held the position of Vice President and Executive Officer, CEO of Industry & Distribution Business Unit Hitachi, Ltd. and Chairman, J.R. Automation Technologies, LLC. He graduated from Fukushima University with a Faculty of Economics degree.

Gajen Kandiah became chief executive officer of Hitachi Vantara in July 2020. As CEO, Gajen leads Hitachi Vantara's 11,000 employees with a focus on empowering client-facing teams to leverage the company's digital infrastructure, software and services capabilities to meet the industry-specific transformational needs of clients worldwide. 

Prior to joining Hitachi Vantara, Gajen built winning IT businesses within multinational corporations and startups for more than two decades. During 15 years with Cognizant, he helped grow the company from $368 million in annual revenues to more than $16 billion. From 2015 to 2019, he was president of Cognizant's multi-billion-dollar Digital Business, a role in which he led the acquisitions of software engineering company Softvision, marketing solutions provider Netcentric, and Idea Couture, a digital innovation and technology services company. He also led a Cognizant-wide initiative to transform company capabilities and services into an integrated, industry- and client-focused suite of offerings and solutions.

Gajen previously served as senior vice president and general manager of Cognizant's Information, Media and Entertainment; Manufacturing Logistics; Consumer Goods; and Communications industry practices.  Before joining Cognizant, he co-founded NerveWire, Inc., a venture capital-backed management consulting and systems integration firm, which was later acquired by Wipro.

In his role as the Chief Digital Solutions Officer, Frank leads the Global Delivery, Advisory and Technology Practices within the Digital Solutions Business Unit and has the responsibility to identify, build and deliver the digital capabilities needed by our clients. He also leads the development of One Hitachi solutions, combining expertise from Hitachi's mobility, energy, industry and smart-life companies to solve customers' business challenges.

A seasoned professional with experience leading Fortune 500 global delivery management and transformation programs, Frank is one of the top IT/OT executives in the industry. He built a $500-million industrial IoT business from the ground up and has a strong background in engineering and manufacturing solutions.

Before he joined Hitachi Vantara in October 2020, Frank spent 17 years at Cognizant, most recently as the global market's leader for IoT and engineering. Prior to Cognizant, he was a project director at Tranquilmoney, a technology startup that focused on emerging technologies in the healthcare industry. Frank holds a computer science and engineering degree from the University of Madras in India.

As the global head of products, Radhika is responsible for the vision, strategy, delivery, and business performance for all our products and solutions across data storage, data operations and analytics, as well as Hitachi's industry leading Lumada Internet of Things and industrial software.

Radhika has a unique combination of deep technical expertise and experience in end-to-end business management. She has incubated, transformed, and scaled several businesses focused on software and cloud infrastructure. Before joining Hitachi Vantara in September 2020, Radhika was executive vice president and general manager of software at 3D Systems and has previously held leadership roles at HP, Cisco, NetApp, Lenovo, and Nimble Storage.

Radhika is a passionate advocate for diversity in tech. She has a bachelor's degree in electrical and electronics engineering from the Birla Institute of Technology and Science, Pilani and a master's in business administration degree from San Jose State University.

Kumazaki-san brings more than 30 years of experience spanning multiple roles at Hitachi group companies in business management, corporate strategy, and software development. Most recently, he served as Corporate Officer / Chief Lumada Business Officer. As Chief Strategy Officer, Kumazaki-san continues to drive key Lumada strategy and global growth of Lumada solutions.

Kumazaki holds a Master of Engineering degree from Nagoya University.

Chris Leslie is responsible for the Hitachi Vantara legal and compliance department, including ethics and business conduct, global trade compliance and global security services.

Leslie joined Hitachi in 2004 and had more than 11 years of increasingly senior positions at Sun Microsystems, primarily in the international legal arena. Before Sun Microsystems, Leslie was vice president and general counsel of Everex Systems in Fremont, California. He spent five years in the 1980s working in Hong Kong for the international law firm of McKenna & Co. (now Cameron McKenna). Leslie is admitted to practice law in England and Wales, Hong Kong and California.

In 2010 Leslie received the Regulatory Lawyer of the Year (non-financial sector) award by the International Law Office/Association of Corporate Counsel. In 2011, 2012 and 2013, Leslie was named by the Ethisphere Institute, a global independent compliance think-tank, as one of the Attorneys Who Matter. The award is given to the best individuals in a wide range of legal disciplines, from compliance specialists and in-house counsel to federal agencies, to the most accomplished ethics and compliance officers of major companies.

As the President and P&L leader of Hitachi Vantara's Digital Solutions business unit (DSBU), Roger is responsible for designing and executing the organization's strategy, driving profitable growth, managing client relationships, and building high performance teams.

Roger has a strong track record of market development, profit and loss management, global sales management, and mergers and acquisition success.

Before he joined Hitachi Vantara, Roger was Cognizant's global market head for Digital Operations, and grew it into a multibillion-dollar business. Before that, he held numerous leadership and market development roles, including running Cognizant's Media and Entertainment industry business.

Prior to Cognizant, Roger worked for several niche consultancies, including NerveWire – a internet services firm operating out of Boston.

Roger is a cum-laude graduate of Brandeis University with degrees in computer science and history.

John Magee leads marketing for Hitachi Vantara's organization. His teams collaborate with customers, partners and industry thought-leaders to identify growth opportunities and go-to-market strategies that help customers adopt digital technologies and business models that transform their enterprises.

Magee has over 20 years of enterprise software and services experience including development, product management and marketing. Prior to joining Hitachi Vantara in 2017, Magee was CMO at GE Digital, where he built the marketing team that defined the Industrial Internet category and launched the Predix IIoT platform. Before that, he held executive marketing positions at Symantec, EMC and Oracle.

In his time off, Magee enjoys sailing and community theatre in the Northern California area.

Inigo joined Hitachi Vantara in 2020. He has over 20 years of experience in finance management with a track record of leading finance teams at global companies including Mercedes Benz, Dow Jones and Cognizant.

Inigo earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Finance and Marketing from University of the Basque Country in Spain and a Master of Business Administration from the Columbia Business School - Columbia University in New York City.

Imtiaz Shaikh is the chief human resources officer for Hitachi Vantara. In this role, Shaikh is responsible for all aspects of human resources, including HR information systems, workforce planning and staffing, total compensation, employee engagement and organization learning and development.

Shaikh also holds a dual role as deputy general manager for the Global Human Capital division of Hitachi, Ltd. As the deputy general manager, he has been driving transformational HR initiatives across the broader Hitachi organization since 2014.

Shaikh brings over 20 years of business and HR management experience. He has a proven track record of transforming businesses through innovation and process re-engineering for some of the top Fortune 500 companies. Shaikh  has been with Hitachi, Ltd. for more than 13 years leading various HR functions. He most recently served as the chief human resources officer at Hitachi Consulting, a global consulting-led solutions and services organization.

Shaikh holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Mathematics and an MBA in Management Information Systems. He also completed the executive development program at the Tuck School of Business at Dartmouth University and the executive leadership program at the International Institute of Management Development (IMD).

Before joining Hitachi Vantara in October 2020, Santhosh spent more than 23 years at Cognizant. Most recently, he ran its North America Digital Interactive and Global Intelligent Process Automation businesses.

Santhosh holds a bachelor’s degree in computer science and engineering from the University of Mysore and a master’s in business administration degree from the University of Florida, Warrington College of Business.
