We’ve expanded our Hitachi Virtual Storage Platform E Series family to include two new NVMe, all-flash storage arrays, the VSP E590 and E790, which feature the same advanced data reduction technology as our high-end Hitachi VSP 5000 Series systems, enabling us to offer a 4:1 sight unseen data reduction guarantee and allowing clients to free up 75% of their storage capacity across their entire environment (see the press release here). Our new E Series offerings can also help clients meet new data requirements associated with artificial intelligence, high-performance computing, and emerging edge computing architectures.
With our new Embedded Management software, clients benefit from easier system setup and configuration, including accelerated installation and rapid provisioning for individual systems. We provide near real-time storage system performance monitoring and, for clients planning larger deployments and wanting more control over workflows and orchestration automation, we offer an easy upgrade path to our more advanced management software Hitachi Ops Center.
These new midrange arrays mean our clients can have it all – Ferrari performance and reliability at an approachable cost model. But we didn’t stop there.
To provide additional choice and flexibility for midmarket enterprise clients, we debuted our Hitachi Virtual Storage as a Service offering, which are powerful enterprise-class, managed cloud services specifically designed to meet midmarket needs, including predictable rates for easy budgeting.
We also introduced the HNAS 5000, a simple, efficient storage solution for distributed enterprise and data center application workloads. Our HNAS 5000 offerings allow clients to consolidate file data on the same Hitachi Vantara infrastructure they already trust.
